OSL Celebrates Successful 2024 with Expanded Capabilities and Team Growth

With 2025 upon us, Offshore Surveys Limited reflects on the recently concluded second half of 2024 (Q3 and Q4) which brought with it; remarkable achievements and significant operational successes. During this period, OSL demonstrated expertise across diverse survey operations, from notable Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) assignments, Personnel Survey Support to the Subsea industry, Multibeam Hydrographic surveys to large scale Offshore Positioning projects.

Key Highlights from Q3 and Q4 2024:

  • Zero Incident Record: Successfully completed multiple complex survey campaigns with no lost time incidents or technical downtime

  • Expanded Service Portfolio: Executed our largest offshore positioning project to date, showcasing our ability to develop tailored solutions for complex client requirements. This project involved a subsea template, pile positioning and as-built survey for a Topside structure offshore Trinidad.

  • Technical Excellence: Delivered comprehensive hydrographic surveys at major ports in Chaguaramas, La Brea and Point Fortin while in Q3 2024 we also supported a critical maintenance dredging campaign with advanced QA/QC capabilities. This dredging campaign involved OSL’s participation with two (2) Senior Surveyors supporting activities from the In-Survey to dredging and completion with the final Out-Survey over a period of approximately two (2) months. OSL also provided technical survey representation for an Shallow Seismic and Geophysical Survey which spanned a period of six (6) weeks in Q3 to Q4 2024.

  • Team Enhancement: OSL welcomed two (2) new team members to the survey department while strengthening our core expertise, expanding our collective capabilities with valuable human resources.

  • Strategic Collaborations: In Q4 2024, OSL provided notable support via partnership with a local Environmental entity as well as international Survey and Subsea contractors. OSL’s Surveyors and Survey Technicians were participants on various occasions on projects across multiple disciplines. These involved a vessel of opportunity, mobilized for Environmental Soil Sampling; “Seacor Mixteca”, the light construction well stimulation and ROV operations vessel “Go Electra”, the deepwater construction and pipeline installation vessel “Seven Seas”. In some instances, the level of involvement varied from several back-to-back rotations, short duration assignment or longer commitments from mobilization to project completion/demobilization.
