  • What began as a one-off request for a single multibeam data processor evolved into a comprehensive service partnership spanning multiple major offshore projects in Trinidad. OSL’s initial engagement on Subsea 7’s Shell Colibri Project expanded to include up to three team members simultaneously aboard the Siem Spearfish, providing surveyors and data processors for continuous back-to-back rotations throughout as-built surveys and ROV multibeam operations.

Building on this success, Subsea 7 engaged OSL for the subsequent bpTT TOPR campaign, deploying online surveyors and multibeam QC operators aboard the Connor Bordelon through that vessel’s demobilization in December 2022. OSL’s scope expanded beyond core surveying to include current meter installations, training sessions on support vessels, and platform visits for radius transponder installations supporting 500m zone operations.

This partnership demonstrates OSL’s adaptability and reliable service delivery, transforming from a single data processor assignment into an instrumental role supporting Subsea 7’s continued Trinidad operations.
